Ulugbek Yusupov belongs to a younger generation of Uzbek artists who bridge the vernacular and the contemporary. A graduate of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzad (2019), he later pursued advanced studies at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. Yusupov’s practice extends beyond the confines of easel painting into monumental and street art, where the visual energy of public space meets symbolic and decorative traditions. His works often reinterpret national motifs and the cultural identity of Turkic peoples through a vibrant, stylized language. With bold composition and rhythmic ornamentation, Yusupov transforms heritage into a living form - one that speaks of belonging, renewal, and the evolving visual consciousness of Central Asia.
