A single gesture holds the weight of transmission. Silent Eternity draws from the moment of the Buddha’s wordless sermon, when a flower was lifted and meaning passed without speech. The figure sits in still alignment, its surface softened by silver leaf, carrying a quiet radiance that remains unwavering. Behind and around the central form, innumerable small Buddhas repeat into a dense space, suggesting continuity rather than multiplication. Copper and patina absorb light unevenly, allowing perception to shift with each pause of looking. The small flower placed upon the chest becomes the hinge of the work - a sign not meant to be recognised. This sculpture rests on the understanding that truth moves through intuition. Like Mahākāśyapa’s smile, comprehension arrives without explanation, settling gently in the body. Here, silence is not emptiness; it is a complete and enduring presence.
