Satish Gupta
The circular field holds a continuous exchange. Countless small figures repeat across the surface, forming a steady pulse that feels cellular, tidal, and enduring. Shiva and Shakti represent the opposites - the Yin and the Yan. Within this rhythm, Shiva and Shakti appear as a single, shared contour - energy taking form through relation rather than separation.
The disc becomes a site of correspondence: stillness and motion, density and flow, containment and release. These forces do not resolve into hierarchy; they circulate, sustaining one another through constant negotiation. The surface carries this dialogue quietly, allowing light to move across copper like breath across skin. Here, cosmic balance is sensed as a living condition. The work settles into a meditation on coexistence, where creation persists through exchange, and harmony arises from the ongoing presence of both forces held in equal measure.
