Lakshmi appears here as a quiet current of sustenance. The field of pink and gold holds a dispersed presence, where the repeated forms soften into a rhythm rather than a pattern. Gold leaf acts as a luminous ground, absorbing colour and allowing it to hover, as if held in suspension. At the centre, the small copper figure anchors the composition without asserting dominance. She gathers attention gently, suggesting nourishment, progression, and circulation rather than abundance as spectacle. The body feels less depicted than sensed - an imprint of energy moving through space. In this work, Lakshmi is understood as a sustaining force: subtle, persistent, and attentive. What unfolds is a meditation on balance that is maintained quietly, through care, resonance, and an ongoing act of holding the world together.
