This group of works holds a moment suspended over water. Set against deep indigo fields, traces of colour linger like afterimages - remnants of a rainbow hovering briefly above the ocean before dissolving. Silver leaf moves beneath the surface like a quiet tide, catching light and releasing it again, allowing the image to breathe rather than settle.
Across the sequence, scale shifts from expansive to intimate, yet the sensibility remains continuous. The water does not rush; it drifts, caresses, withdraws. Each work feels like a slight variation in the same passage - an interval where colour, reflection, and motion remain present just long enough to be remembered.
Together, these works carry water as memory rather than landscape. What unfolds is not an image of the sea, but a sensation of holding - of light touching the surface for an instant longer before returning to depth and stillness.
