In ancient India many strcams of philosophy were for the scarch of the ultimate ruch that has been in vogue and they provided a suitable springboard a perennial one and continues In lectures many scholars and sages have pointed out that not only is the truth clusive, but that the path is alo most difficult and arduous.

Man and Nature
Prakriti and Purusha are both terms in India and they symbolise the dual principles of nature and consciousness. Prakriti represents the material universe, whilc Purusha denotes the spiritual essence or conscious self, essential for understanding existence and creation. But if we look at the larger picture it translates into man and nature and that is an cternal embodiment of life on earth that belongs to the universe.Expand to the universe and its cosmic creations and it is the foundation of all discourse, of the definition of evolution and it is the fountain of life. This exhibition Purusha Prakriti celebrates ever human past and present as well as nature, and is an ccho of the beauty of the arth. In the medly of mediums and materials we have sculptures ceramics, paintings, drawings and 4 seminal printmakers all from MS University Vadodara.

The artists have been chosen to signify the interdependence of man and nature. In this exhibition the ceramic works belong to the world's oldest material - clay. The paintings extol the virtues of the interdependence of man and nature. The sculptures speak of the essence of life and the living. The drawings draw on our love for form and the fervent power of bhakti. The ceramic artists are all award winnings masters each one a delight in their own realms. If Purusha represents the eternal, unchanging, and pure consciousness or spirit, then Prakriti signifies the dynamic, material world or nature, including all its cognitive, mental, and physical aspects. Three international artists in this show belong to Devin Gawarvala's collection. The falcon, the flamingo and the tall unisexual human all reflect character and charisma. They speak of the beauty of materials and the ingenuity of creativity with man and nature as their primary focus.

Founder and collector Devin Gawarvala wanted to have an exhibition that celebrated Earth Month in India too. Explaining his thinking behind the exhibition Devin says: "The Indian art market has a widespread number of artists from different disciplines and Bespoke seeks to create awareness and appreciation of Indian artists across different geographies. We want to bring forward greater interest in Indian art which I believe must go beyond a niche audience. The goal of Bespoke Art Gallery is to add to the expansion of the Indian market and nationally as well as internationally create awareness Earth Month is about man's role on the planet and we must join hands in its sustenance and conservation".

"Earth Month is important world over, this exhibition reaffirms the objectives of spurring humans to Plant trees and artists to create works that draw attention to the preservation and conservation of the environment and create inspiring dialogues of ecological echoes all over the world with love for biological species."
