Arijoy Bhattacharyya

Arijoy Bhattacharya (b. 1986) is a New Delhi-based artist whose work explores the intersection of perception, metaphysics, and visual expression. A graduate of the College of Art, New Delhi (2009) and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, his practice draws from Continental philosophy and Indian spiritual traditions—particularly Kashmir Shaivism. His paintings investigate the circularity of revelation and concealment through mimesis and reciprocity. Beyond visual art, Arijoy translated Srikramanayapradipika by Swami Lakshmanjoo, published as Light on the Doctrine of Krama (2019). He views life as playful unfolding in the lap of Kali, and is also passionate about music and poetry.
