Each of these seven worlds is meticulously crafted, brimming with fresh forms, faces, facets, and fantasies. They are historically, culturally, socially, and personally distinct, representing the creative journeys of seven remarkable artists. Ankit Patel’s world, for instance, is a nostalgic celebration of his childhood memories, expressed through vertical, horizontal, and circular forms. Arun Pandit, on the other hand, crafts nuanced embodiments that symbolically explore life’s paradoxes. Although Ashish Das and Debashish Bera hail from the same region, their artistic universes diverge significantly. Ashish’s solemn, Sanskritized human figures and captivating beasts provoke deep thought, while Debashish’s creations—shaped by his international exposure—feature intricately carved figures in wood, marble, and bronze. Gilli & Marc’s world is unlike any other, revolving around their iconic muses, Rabbitwoman and Dogman.
