Etching and Aquatint
At PrintAdda Studio, I worked on three zinc plates, to explore the intricate language of energy, transformation, and decay through etching. Together, these three images trace a poetic arcbeginning with the birth of life from a seed, flowing into the tender emergence of new leaves, and finally dissolving into the gentle decay of fallen flowers. Each artwork explores a different stage in nature’s cycle: growth, blooming, and erosion. Energy is a thread throughout- released by the seed, nurtured by the leaves, and returned to the environment through decay. The series invites viewers to notice the silent beauty that surrounds us, to slow down and reflect on how life moves in circles, offering renewal in every stage. It’s a visual meditation on transformation, care, and the invisible forces that shape the natural world.
