This series of three sculptures explores the conflict between agricultural land and urban expansion, reflecting changes I have witnessed in farmland, livelihood, and migration. As younger generations leave their family farms for construction, industry, and other urban occupations, agricultural landscapes are increasingly replaced by concrete structures. The recurring tree-like forms represent farmland, labour, growth, and generations connected to the land. Their changing relationship with the architectural forms suggests t he gradual displacement of both land and livelihood. The series questions whether development can coexist with environmental care and asks what is lost when our connection to the land is replaced by the concrete city.
